Security Architect
Austin TX
12 Months

The Applicant, as a DLP Security Architect, will perform highly advanced analysis to develop requirements and documentation for DLP policies, practices, guidelines and standards by evaluating network and security technologies for:
· local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs)
· cloud infrastructure
· virtual private networks (VPNs)
· routers
· firewalls
· related security and network devices (hardware and software)
The Worker will also develop requirements for ongoing operations using Symantec DLP Tool Set. The Worker will also review and provide solutions to resolve capacity related issues (Firewall CPU, bandwidth, drive space, etc.

Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
*5Y Working knowledge and proficiency with Data Loss Prevention tools, reports, processes and practices
*5Y Experience in the implementation of Data Loss Prevention solutions
*5Y Experience in developing DLP standards/guidelines across multiple platforms and operating systems
*5Y Working knowledge of Security best practices, standards and procedures as implemented in Network, Mainframe, UNIX, Linux and Windows environments
*5Y Experience with Data Protection or Data Governance tools (e.g., data discovery, data mapping data lineage, data loss prevention, database activity monitoring, data modeling)
*3Y Knowledge of Data Protection, Data Governance, or data lifecycle methodologies and concepts
*3Y Experience leading security programs and projects.
*2Y Experience developing security programs and initiatives

Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
*3Y Knowledge and experience integrating DLP systems with Cloud (SaaS, PaaS) and CASB solutions.
*3Y Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
*2Y Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
