In summary, this person should be able to sit with business users and have strong communication/presentation skills. They need to be able to configure and follow previous processes/patterns. They will need to break down Epics to stories and interact to external databases, but the key piece is the Salesforce skills not the Java back end skills.

looking for a design oriented, results driven Software Developer for our Brazil based team. You will be joining our knowledgeable developers to primarily progress and support our Salesforce applications that enable our various Latin America teams; Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Marketing to name a few. As a member of our fast-paced Agile team, we’re looking for an organized self-starter with an appreciation of current and emerging technology trends.
Responsibilities
Maintain, enhance, and create new functions and features in support of Salesforce application
Develop Salesforce & Salesforce App Exchange Partner Applications in an Agile environment
Participate in unit test case development & execution
Interact with customers and development team to refine user stories
Work within Agile team on iterative development that delivers a high-quality product
Analyze user requests for validity and feasibility
Participate in coding and design review
Plan work out appropriately; escalate issues that arise
Desired Skills:
Enterprise-level software development experience in Salesforce; including Workflows, Process Builder, Profiles Roles and Access Permissions
Experience with Salesforce App Exchange Partner software
Experience with Java, SQL Server
Knowledge with Cloud Technologies such as AWS
Knowledge of backend/RESTful services
Bilingual with Spanish *Not required but nice to have
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (Computer Science preferred)
Knowledge of Technology Agile concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards
Proficient in programming languages and tools
Knowledgeable in new and emerging technologies
Knowledge of design and development tools
