SQL BI (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) Developer

JOB SUMMARY:

Incumbent is responsible for the data foundation and tasks related to the expansion and optimization of data architecture to empower business units with ready access to data required for business planning and decision-making.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

4-year degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field highly preferred; Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Minimum of 5 year’s experience working with Visual Studio SSIS package development
Expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and other advanced business intelligence concepts related to data extraction, transformation, loading, scheduling, etc.
Expertise with relational databases (SQL) and analytics database(s) (i.e. Vertica)
Experience with time-series data (SCADA or IoT)
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes
Understanding of Kimball approach for data mart development, multi-dimensional database structures, e.g. Star Schemas
Familiarity with cloud data architecture
Appreciation for how downstream data analysis applications utilize enterprise data (Spotfire, Excel, Power BI)
Upstream oil and gas IT experience preferred
Established proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Strong interpersonal, problem solving, analysis, verbal and written communications skills required
Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task with attention to accuracy
Must be team player able to adapt to a changing and fast paced work environment
Competent at the highest technical level, understands whole systems architecture, has multi-systems knowledge and background
Ability to work alone, as an individual contributor
