Job Description :
Title: SAS Analyst with strong SQL
Location Ewing NJ
Duration: Fulltime
Job Summary: Must have 3+ SAS analyst exp with Strong SQL.
If they had healthcare experience, that would be a bonus
Prefer certified

Provide decisions and resolutions to analytics/data problems which require gathering information from several sources. Incumbent will provide reporting/analytic deliverables (i.e. tables, graphs, recommendations, etc in a consultative manner
Responsibilities:
Review business requirements and define parameters of analytics projects for customers across the enterprise.
The analyst will confirm deliverables and deadlines with the business partner and begin to use negotiation and creativity in consultation with direct manager when necessary.
Interpret and analyze financial and clinical data from various sources.
Provide claims, provider, and membership data in support of affordability, trend and utilization analytics.
Produce required deliverables from information stored in Horizon data warehouses, utilizing the most appropriate analytic tool.
Analyze data results from multiple information sources to ensure reporting and analytic requirements have been met. In addition, provide clear, concise and efficient summary analysis to customer.
Follow department policies and procedures to ensure consistent utilization and cost reporting. Employs appropriate techniques to ensure data and result integrity. Maintains a high standard of compliance with all Horizon policies and regulations including data security.
Document work appropriately, including use of Analytic Plan/Timeline template for Analytic projects as appropriate.
Knowledge:
Prefers general health care knowledge.
Requires some familiarity with Company legacy data sources.
Candidates with general health care knowledge preferred.
Requires proficiency with very large data sets and software/coding (i.e. SAS
