The analyst will work in the procurement, inventory management and invoicing (open text-VIM) space throughout implementation, support, and enhancement. Required:
Gather business needs and translate into a form that leads to the creation of better process and/or technology solutions in the SAP MM(Materials Management) including Procurement , inventory management and Invoicing- VIM Open text modules always aligned with the Global template.
Advise business teams on process improvements in above mentioned process streams when transforming process functions from legacy systems to SAP ensuring best practices and to create a sustainable solution for success.
Understands both technical and functional design and brings perspective from all domains (process, application, integration, data, technology and security) into the solution.
Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality, including cost/benefit analysis and risk/impact analysis;
Support the SAP MM module and Open Text Vendor Invoice Management solution, including reviewing ticket backlog, prioritizing issues, and working them to resolution
Develop PRICEF developments in SAP MM(procurement, Inventory, Invoice)
Implement best practice in every phase of ERP life cycle right from solution building, PRICEF development, change management, testing etc
Develop test plans, test cases and assure proper user acceptance testing before go-live of any solution.
Provide direction to team in fixing root cause and design changes to ensure reduction in incidents as part of continuous improvement process.
Validate change requests for production support in above process streams, challenge the solution options or development methods, if required
Recommend initiatives including cost reduction, projects prioritization and effective resources utilization across supply chain functions.
Experience Needed
Bachelor’s degree
More than 10 years of experience in SAP implementations, rollouts and enhancing solutions in SAP MM( Procurement, inventory and Invoicing using Open text) with at least 3 full life cycle implementations in SAP MM and 1 implementation in Open text.
Demonstrated experience in process designing, solution building, PRICEF developments, cross functional impact analysis with end to end business process knowledge in Procurement, inventory & Invoicing.
In-depth understanding in configuring and designing SAP systems and interfacing with other ERP systems in Procurement ,inventory & invoicing required.
Process improvement and design capabilities.
Experience in report building and knowledge of SAP BI/BW
Experience in interfacing SAP with other tools/systems using EDI/API/other integration methods.
SAP Certification in Materials Management. (nice to have)
Experience in S4 Hana implementation project (nice to have)
