Detailed Job Description:
Conduct data migration workshops to capture scope for data migration in terms of source and target systems for all key master data and transactional data objects
Ensure sufficient capacity planning to deliver as per the RACI across customer and Infosys in line with the SOW.
Be the Infosys SPOC for all stakeholders from within customer IT, Business and Infosys for Data Migration Planning, Execution and validation
Administer data mapping activity between legacy data and to be data needs
Drive discussions around Data migration strategy and plan right design and build strategies
Ensure detailed planning for data migration track and align the plan with the remaining tracks to ensure timely validation of data
Strong understanding of ETL techniques and tools like IDSS to facilitate structured planning, execution and reporting
Daily status reporting of mock load progress and open issue resolution showcasing progressive improvements across Mock to mock cutover to actual cutover.
Co-ordinate with functional and technical teams to help fix issues at source in each of the extract, transform and load parts of the process
Deploy work to the offshore data mig team and ensure adherence to schedule
Understand data impact on functionality and functionality needs that drive data
Need to be able to track issues to closure.
