Description:
The Cutover lead will work closely with the other IT Project Managers, Business Process owners, and boundary system owners to
execute the pre-cutover, cutover and post cutover activity. The Cutover Lead will provide the strategy, approach, checklists and planning to
drive successful new system delivery.
Job Description :
1. Experience in project planning and related tools.
2. Develop detailed cutover checklist and project plan incorporating both technical and operations or business tasks.
3. Responsible for creating and maintaining the Cutover Project Plan as per the cutover standards.
4. Responsible for detailed project management of the cutover and conversion deliverables to the new system, resolving discrepancies or
process issues related to cutover.
5. Responsible for ensuring successful planning and execution of integrated release cutover activities and associated system outages.
6. Plans the resources, human and physical required for cut-over activities.
7. Develops the communication and escalation plan. (policies, procedures, downtime processes etc
8. Provides Cutover status reporting to the project leadership and key stakeholders.
9. Ensures entry into and exit out of cutover stage gates are met including the final Go/No-Go meetings.
10. Acts as the final point of escalation for all Cut-over issues, proactively bringing about appropriate interventions when the Cutover
may be jeopardized.
11. Leads cutover activities for Pre Go-Live, Go-Live and Post Go-Live.
12. Works closely with the work streams to document the cutover plan for each boundary system application.
13. Develops back out / contingency plans for Cutover.
14. Coordinates requirements for Go Live including staffing and overall logistics.
15. Experience in cutover over activities for SAP implementation for at least 1 or 2 global implementation.
