Job Description :
client is seeking a BASIS Architect with SAP cloud infrastructure experience for a new contract position. This individual will be responsible for administration of our customer''s S/4 HANA cloud environment, will mentor junior basis administrators, and drive a culture of excellence within our customer''s infrastructure team. The successful candidate will have the right technical skills in addition to experience leading infrastructure teams on complex project.
The BASIS Architect will perform the following tasks:
Responsible for the installation, upgrade and support of all components of the SAP and interfacing systems infrastructure.
Designs and develops SAP architecture requirements and specifications
Provides technical support on SAP Basis and interfacing systems including establishing standards and requirements
Evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for systems configuration, design and implementation and performance monitoring as
required.
Work with the hosting, infrastructure, functional and application vendors on configuration and maintenance of network, high availability and disaster
recover solutions.
Support SAP projects keeping a focus on hitting key project milestones.
Maintain daily contact with the SAP Basis manager regarding work progress
Complete quality documentation for the SAP environments.
Liaise with the functional SAP experts and business teams in order to assist with the ongoing functional support of SAP and interfacing systems.
Successful candidates must have the following experiences:
1. 7 + years’ experience as BASIS Architect with accountability for tasks described above (including S/4 or HEC cloud infrastructure experience)
2. Experience implementing and supporting ECC and additional experience in implementing and supporting the following technologies: (S/4, HEC, BI/BO, PI,
Portals, SRM,)
3. Red Hat Linux and Oracle Enterprise Linux operating systems
4. Oracle and SQL Server Database administration
5. Network administration and SAN administration
6. Experience introducing changes into SAP infrastructure environment in a structured fashion that manages risk and realizes reliable performance
