The Network Manager will play a critical role in setting short and long-term goals for Network Infrastructure while working closely with the business and architecture to ensure the Network Infrastructure and services are aligned appropriately to meet business objectives. The Manager role will require daily interactions with the assigned team and other peer groups to meet goals set out by the IT vision and objectives. The Manager is responsible for daily operations in the maturing Network Operations Center (NOC) will be required to communicate with senior management on critical operational issues. This role also is required to manage vendor relationships and SLA performance throughout the assigned areas and escalate issues where SLA s are not being met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the network operations and service levels for the data and voice networking equipment and software including VoIP, PBX, video, and network processing devices
Develop and implement standards, procedures, and processes for the network services group

Plan and manage the support of new technologies, network performance and reliability
Define and negotiate service level agreements
Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the network operations area

Prepare for human resources, equipment arrangements, electrical power and cable requirements for the telecommunications equipment
Provide IT network equipment and support, determining user and system needs and incorporating them into the design and overall plan for support

Organize the activities associated with installation, deployment, and upgrade of software, hardware, and facilities as it relates to network environment


Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
10 years of IT business/industry work experience

2-5 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
Strong experience in areas such as data communications software and hardware, network administration, support and maintenance and network operations
Solid oral, written and presentation skills to build and maintain effective team and customer relationships
Ability to contribute at the strategic business level
Moderate travel


Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
ITIL Foundation or Practitioner

F5 technologies exposure
VoIP exposure (Shoretel or Cisco)
Video Conference (Cisco)
Network Performance Management (NPM) tools
