Job Description :
Elicit, analyze, and validate technical and business requirements for performance testing purposes, and translate these requirements into test scenarios
Work closely with other performance testing analysts to ensure performance testing best practices are being followed as applications move throughout the software development life cycle
Develop test scripts and the relevant Quality Assurance documentation for testing purposes, preparing and executing on deliverables as required
Work actively with application development teams, project teams, technical support teams (database administrators, middle tier administrators, server administrators, network administrators) to ensure continual focus on performance and scalability of our critical business systems through both development/test cycles and in production
Analyze test results data and system logs with tools and utilities such as AppDynamics, ftrace (Function Tracer), DTrace (dynamic tracing), Micro Focus/HPE SiteScope, Dynatrace, N|Solid, SystemTap, Powershell, etc.
Able to explain non-functional performance issues to the broader IT and business team, and work towards resolution with appropriate teams
Compile technical reports as part of the performance testing practice. These include performance test requirements, performance test plans, and performance test summary reports
Assist in design and implementation of performance testing tools and custom web browser automation scripts
Evaluate and make recommendations for future improvements to the existing performance testing framework and associated processes
A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or related technical discipline
5 years of performance testing experience with HP LoadRunner, Performance Center, StormRunner
2+ years of experience with MS Visual Studio Test (Coded UI), WorkSoft, SoapUI, Selenium
Expert knowledge in CRM performance testing experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016/Dynamics 365
Experience with HP TestDirector, Quality Center, ALM
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodology
Experience with Linux shell scripting, PLSQL, and .NET
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
Certified Software Tester (CSTE) preferred
Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) preferred
Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and consultation skills are a must
Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
