Position Description:
Software Developer Is responsible for the realization of features within the chosen platform. This individual will possess technical, communication, and execution skills. They will be responsible, as a team member, for the successful completion of assigned features.
Team needs a head down developer - a “do’er”. Not looking for a lead or a designer. Candidates must be motivated and comfortable working with little direction and can handle this type of role.
Essential Functions:
Work with Mergers & Acquisitions team on various projects converting groups from their systems to McKesson’s. There could be new development but much of the development will be making modifications to existing code.
Participate as a team member to deliver application design and development
Work with other teams to plan and deliver features
Work with Solution Architect to deliver features that meet the architectural standards
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
A lot of medication of existing code but will work on new code as well
Working to implement scripts from newly acquired orgs into MCK business plans.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years software development experience

Ability communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization; build trust and maintain strong business relationships
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities, projects and tasks and continue to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with GIT, Java SPRING, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Azure Cloud (Knowledge), Oracle/SQL Database preferred
Need someone who can work independently and take initiative on their own to perform the work and report back on it.
