Job Title Information Security Consultant (SAML, PingFederate)
Location Chicago (IL)
Project Duration 18 months

Job Roles & Responsibilities
The security consultant will work closely with both business partners and technical architects to design and develop Federation solutions based on OAuth, SAML, and other applicable standards that meet business and technical requirements in an agile environment.

Design and develop solutions to implement Federation with vendors.
Combine multiple technologies to provide alternative physical solutions.
Responsible for the application development as well as the application environment.
Understand various types of tools and technologies on the market and their appropriate usage.
Responsibilities extend to all components of an application and application environment including front, back, and middle tiers where applicable.
Lead a tool evaluation effort, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of tools to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation.
Translate business requirements into identifiable technical tasks.
Independently lead small projects and provide reporting to higher management.
Work in a team environment. Good communication skills to understand and articulate solutions.

Candidate Experience & Skills
1. Experience: 3-5 years in Federation, 8 years total
2. Must have technical skills:
a. SAML
b. Ping Federate
c. Active Directory and LDAP
d. Linux
3. Nice to have technical skills:
a. Any Multi Factor Authentication (like RSA, Symantec, Daon)
b. OAuth
c. J2EE
d. Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Access Manager
