Title: Informatica Developer
No admin, developer who knows the stuff, Teradata as the source, moving old scripts from Unix to Linux environment, possibly a mini project or two in finance area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of programming experience in Informatica and shell scripting in a UNIX environment. In depth knowledge of Informatica 8.x/9.x Power Center and Power Exchange as a developer
5+ years of SQL programming experience in relational databases, data warehousing, or decision support systems, preferably in a Teradata environment
Strong understanding of ETL, data structures, data flow, data patterns, and data governance
Strong understanding of relational database management objects (tables, schemas, indexes, stored procedures, macros), database design principles and data administration standards, business intelligence tools including dimensional models, and information security practices
Working knowledge of and business intelligence tools such as Cognos or Business Objects and data quality and cleansing tools associated with Informatica
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
