Job: UI Developer with Mongo DB Work Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 12-18 months Start Date: Immediate Pay-rate: Market
Position Summary:
We are currently looking for an experienced UI Developer with Mongo DB as a contractor in our Big Data Analytics Practice based out of San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience working as UI Developer with Mongo DB with 5 + years of relevant experience, esp in HTML 5.0, CSS3, AngularJS, React, Adobe Target

Role Description
Responsible for design and development of user interfaces.
Expert level skills on at least one major JS library/frame work like AngularJS or React JS
Development of UIs based on Responsive Web Design
Development of UIs for mobile devices
Creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional application
Work in a team with the back-end developer, and communicate with the API using standard methods
Responsibilities
Build visual interfaces, shared visualization components, and custom visualizations for communicating data
Collaborate with Data Engineers to iterate on the design and implementation of data visualization products
Work with Data Engineers to build features
Champion the relationship between Data Science, Design, and Product teams
Participate in design and code reviews
Knowledge of visualization best practices
Turning large data sets into progressive ideas through the creation of clear, compelling infographics, maps, data visualizations, interactive media and product designs.
Must to have Skillset:
Data visualization and a keen design sense and knowledge of visualization best practices
Solid UI and UX skills, with experience building web and/or mobile interfaces for displaying interactive visual insights
Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks including d3, React, and redux
Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
History of filtering the signal from the noise in datasets and visually
Knowledge of query languages, APIs, data pipelines, and how to work with them in practice
Experience with MicroStrategy and D3/ Highchart libraries
Motivated and able to work independently, with a track record of developing an idea into a polished product
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn with a strong sense of accountability and a proven track record of delivering results. Great communicator with strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
