Position: Drupal Developer
Location: Jacksonville,FL
Duration: 12+ Months
Interview Mode:Telephonic,Skype
Configure, administer, design, develop, maintain high quality web based applications primarily using Drupal CMS and LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack Integrate Drupal/LAMP based web applications with other applications using SOAP/REST based webservices and HTTP posts Manage/maintain environment, migrate code/configuration across environments for web applications using Drupal CMS and LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack Provide on-going production support, system administration and resolve production issues Work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with attention to details, as required.
Required:
5+ years of contiguous experience in IT developer role building user facing web applications in LAMP stack.
Last 3+ years contiguous experience developing with Drupal 7.x
Strong working experience with SQL, Java Scripts, XML, JSON, SFTP, SOAP and REST services
Experience with SOAP/REST services based integrations between Drupal/PHP and external applications
Strong knowledge of basic database design concepts and performance tuning of SQL queries
Experience with Unix/Linux command level including shell scripting and web servers
Expertise in Drupal core concepts, APIs, module and theme development
Knowledge of user-contributed module landscape and ecosystem and corresponding ability to determine whether existing modules can fulfill solution requirements
Understanding of HTTP request/response lifecycle
Proficiency with Git (version control) and related workflows for source control management as well as Jenkins (build/deploy tool)
Experience managing deployments of Drupal projects with multiple developers across multiple environments
Strong communication and interpersonnel skills.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with PaaS (Platform As A Service, e.g. OpenShift) deployment env
Experience with agile methodology and related tool – Rally or similar
Experiece developing in Java/J2EE and ReactJS
Experience in health insurance related applications, especially marketing and sales
Contract to Hire - must be local or willing to relo at their own expense.
