Background and Responsibilities:
* Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
* Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Salt or an equivalent
* Ability to use a wide variety of both closed- and open-source technologies and services
* Strong experience with SQL and / or NoSQL Database Management technologies
* A working understanding of code and script (JavaScript and Python preferred)
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service"
* Develop and maintain multiple Linux-based systems using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
* Support full-stack web applications with 24/7 uptime requirements
* Work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems
* Help automate and streamline our operations and processes * Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments. Top 3 Skills Required: DevOps, JavaScript, Python
