ROLE-Business Systems Analyst (SAS Senior
Client really need a SA or BA with some development background.
Top responsibilities:
Documenting production jobs and processes, looking at code to determine how processes work and discussing with developers and other staff where needed to help produce documentation.
Meet with project stakeholders to document and help vet out requirements for future development work.
Translate user requirements into technical specifications to document proposed solution and the features to be developed in coordination with development team.
Engagement between project stakeholders and development team where appropriate to help validate or further flush out detailed requirements where necessary on projects.
Research of production issues where necessary to determine root cause and remediation steps.
Providing status updates daily in Rally (CA Agile) and in Stand-up meetings.
Experience:
5+ years systems analyst experience
5+ years writing requirements and technical documentation
3+ years working and/or coding in SAS
3+ years healthcare and financial data experience
2+ years working with Hive
2+ years SAS/SQL querying
1+ years working with Agile
Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access)
Teradata and Oracle experience preferred
Previous Data Analyst experience preferred
