Senior Network Infrastructure Security Telecom Specialist (9 Plus Years!)

The individual will be working on their global implementation/migration of clients IS Infrastructure in managing processes, meetings, and tasks must have the experience to provide oversight for the technical operations of IT. They need this person to have experience in networking, telecom, security, design and finally leadership management. Experienced in network and telephony configuration and deployments.
Below is a snapshot showing portion of our client''s technology stack and skills:
* IT Infrastructure network processes and outsourced vendors Astellas Environment
* LAN - Cisco 3560, 37xx, and 6500 switches, F5 Load Balancers.
* LAN Wireless - Cisco 5500 controller and 3500 WAPS
* WAN - Cisco Routers (Verizon) and Riverbed WAN accelerators
* Security - Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS, and 3030 Concentrators for VPN
* Telephony - Cisco Call manager, Unit, call center and e911 Responsibilities / Activities Network Access.
Technical expertise to assist and provide technical direction as needed in the LAN and WAN total enterprise.
Role will not have hands on keyboard tasks but need to provide technical oversight of outsource vendor support staff.
* Review network documentation to insure accuracy. Network Diagrams and procedures.
* Push projects and provide detail information, and perform user testing as needed for active projects.
Position Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred
* Network Certifications a plus
* 7+ years of Network, Telecom, Security experience and skills having proven experience in network and telephony configuration and deployments.
* Team player who can work independently as well as within a group setting and can interface across multiple departments and levels of management.
* Demonstrated skill proficiency in Microsoft Office. Advanced proficiency in a variety of software and PC functions and a high level of confidence in learning a variety of software for databases, spreadsheets.
* Ideally understand Project Management methodology experiences within IT, pharma industry a plus. Also any experience with IBM and Accenture Global Programs a plus.
