Why is this position open? backfill. Project “Blue Water” is in full swing. This is their new microservices application client portal.
Work from Home Policy: can usually do a day or two a week once you get settled in
Work Environment/culture and Dress Code: casual dress. Jeans are just fine.
Skills Required: blend of architecture and development. Java, spring, docker, some front end experience, someone who can create solutions, apps, features from scratch based on requirements. The portal they are building will eventually replaced the legacy portal. They are also moving everything into AWS, so any experience with that is helpful.
Best Personality Match for this Role: cant just be a heads down coder, will be participating in architecture and planning meetings as well. The team is pretty laid back and communicate well with each other. Musts be comfortable with a highly visible project.
