Job Description

The Storage Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of the SAN and NAS solutions in the environment. The current infrastructure consists of Hitachi G1000 arrays and Brocade directors. The current NAS infrastructure consists of a range of NetApp CDOT filers running Data OnTap 9.x and some legacy 7-mode filers. Replication is setup between data centers.
Job Requirements
At least 5 years of Hitachi and NetApp and 7+ overall storage experience
In-depth knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies
Experience setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting
Experience working with an offshore team
Ability to act as 3rd level support for the Operations team
Must have prior experience with designing, planning, and setting up enterprise-wide storage systems, mainly Hitachi
Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement preventative measures
Support and maintain a Disaster Recovery Infrastructure utilizing array based replication technologies
Document the environment and create/maintain SAN and NAS procedures
Experience with SAN fabric technologies - Brocade switches is a plus
Experience Object Storage and external cloud solutions is a plus"
