Job Description: .NET Developer
Must-haves:
o Experience developing & maintaining applications in ASP.NET MVC
o MS SQL Server (with exposure to writing SQL and developing stored procedures)
o Critical thinking (I know this sounds obvious, but he wants a true go-getter)
o 7-10+ years’ work experience
Nice-to-haves:
o Exposure to clinical applications, HCA uses eCW, but others like Epic, GE Centricity and NextGen are all good equivalents
o ETL, SSIS would be preferred
o Exposure to LINQ and ORM technologies
o Bachelor’s Degree
Project details:
Client server is built for 7 instances but with recent growth and acquisitions, they are handling more than 15 instances. His team is in charge of revisiting and redesigning their applications, conducting server upgrades, etc. all to support the greater instance number.
Team details:
o The team is pretty senior: 2 consulting level developers, 2 senior developers and 1 tester
o WFH wouldn’t be considered until the consultant has worked at least 6 months
o Business casual dress code
Interview process:
o 30 minute phone call then an hour on-site with the team
o Interview questions will be based on previous experience, and how the candidate specifically contributed to previous projects
