Must haves:


5 years (minimum) experience in Java and Spring
Experience creating and implementing RESTful APIs
Experience in an enterprise environment would be “extremely helpful but not absolutely necessary”
Excellent communication and a good attitude (this consultant will be on high profile projects and working with high level people throughout the organization)


Job responsibilities

Analyze, design, code, test, debug and document application and support activities for the assigned project team (75%)
Work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications (20%)
Support deployments and operations team (5%)


Project details:

ESSC project: One role will be on the team spearheading the ESSC (Electronic Shared Services Center) product. Parallon is responsible for client''s shared services operations (payroll, billing, account collections, insurance services, workers’ compensation services, etc There are currently 8 shared services centers across the nation that service all of client. The product (ESSC) is being built to automate the majority those processes. By automating these processes, human error is eliminated, time is saved and manual labor is cut down (aka this project saves the company as a whole a tons of . This is ‘the project to be on’ at Parallon because it is heavily backed by executive leadership.









The other candidate will have the opportunity to work on a few different projects:


Force Multiplier: This is a reporting application for their billing processes
Waiting room time tracking application: this one doesn’t have a name, but it pings the supervisor when someone has been in a waiting room for too long
Patient Insight: Client is in the process of joining forces with UnitedHealth Group to bring together the mass amounts of data they have to create a more seamless process for patients when it comes to getting their results translated between healthcare providers and hospitals
