Job description:


Over 10 years’ experience
4+ years real world experience working in a tech/dev ops organization
Experience configuration and administration of cloud desktop services – Desktop as a Service (DaaS)– Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS Workspaces, Horizon CloudExtensive
Maintain an existing outsourced VDI environment including regular updates
Experience with VDI and published applications (VMware Horizon, Citrix Xenapp, Xendesktop)
Perform operating system, network and cloud infrastructure administration
Experience supporting and administering Windows, Linux and Mac systems
Experience designing and maintaining a cloud based highly-available (HA) architecture
Support and administration of a Windows Active Directory environment.
Advanced knowledge of Group Policy (GPO)
Experience managing physical Windows systems
Experience with remotely troubleshooting and resolving issues
Experience utilizing VDI environments in an education environment, preferably for Learning or Research
Manage and maintain a small subset of Windows 10 systems in various locations
Monitor, troubleshoot and tune up running systems to ensure SLA meet business requirements
Design, plan and implement solutions to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of applications and services
Help to automate common tasks to improve support workflow
Assist and collaborate with other Business Technology teams
Help maintain Inventory of assets, software and hardware
Document architectures, deployments and installations
Responsible for data backup and recovery, security and administration
Participate in Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Planning
Be part of the On-call duties to support our internal infrastructure and platforms
Perform incident resolution and root cause analysis of critical outage
