Responsibilities:
Top caliber DevOps technical lead with experience in building the end-to-end infrastructure. We have built a modern real-time event-driven data platform in AWS, and we are looking for someone to continue to design and build the next generation ops to support that the ideal candidate will have top notch system engineering skills and experience building devops using Amazon AWS, and preferably has experience working on early stage consumer service platforms. This is an opportunity to be part of a promising early stage startup in the digital health space and to drive a new generation digital health platform. What you'll be doing:
· Building out and automating our world class infrastructure on top of AWS
· Design and Implement packaging and deployment tools, responsible for dev infrastructure and application level ops work
· Scaling our platform
· Performance analysis
· Security expert
· Security Compliance
Qualifications:
· 8+ years of relevant and 3+ yrs of DevOps experience
· Experience leading large scale Linux based cloud based SaaS offerings on Amazon AWS.
· Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, CloudFormation, TerraForm, auto-scaling, various services, etc
· Familiarity with Docker, Ruby, and Java, etc.
· Have strong automation scripting skills, etc.
· Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred, Chef and Puppet OK)
· Experience with RDBMS configuration/tuning/backup/restore (MySQL
· Have worked with Spark, Hadoop Clusters and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB and Cassandra
· Experience with monitoring system (Icinga, nagios
· Use various APM such as New Relic, Mixpanel, Track.js, Airbrakes, etc. a plus
