Golang Developer
Location: Remote
Golang, AWS and working with large amounts of data
Project Details: Fully back-end development. Telemetry collection, 6 different applications, all responsible for collection of different types of data, all already in production, maintenance and support applications
Must Have Skills:
- Senior level golang developer
- 8+ Golang coding for design and performance of application
- Experience with AWS, Lambda
- Terraform, or Infrastructure as code tools
- Working with large amounts of data
- Docker and Kubernetes

- Migrating services into containerization
Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or related field highly preferred
Day to day responsibilities: Correct bottlenecks of data and information, design to implementation
Location: open to remote, will have to work 9-5pm EST
We are searching for a GoLang Developer to join Comcast who has experience bringing an infrastructure-as-code and DevOps culture to an enterprise as part of our adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Role:
- Self-directed individual who has the ability and motivation to develop solutions from inception to production delivery including requirements gathering, architectural design and documentation, implementation, and deployment
- Work closely with architects, software engineers, quality engineers, product owners, and management to discover and gather requirements
Requirements
- Proficient in GoLang Programming
- Proficient in managing AWS services like Lambda, Kinesis, EC2, SQS
- Proficient in Docker and setting up CI/CD to build docker images
- Familiar with setting up infrastructure in AWS with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Familiar in observability platforms like Prometheus
- Familiar with container orchestration systems like ECS and Kubernetes
- Awareness of OpenTelemetry is a plus
