Job Description

Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
Minimum of 1-2 years:
CISSP
Penetration Testing and manual scanning
Experience with NIST 800-53 controls
DevSecOps experience
Preferred:
Cloud Infrastructure Security
Security Engineering
Government consulting
DHS security clearance or clearable
Good interpersonal communication skills
Understanding complex IT engineering problems and solving skills
Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Security Engineer will provide a cooperative, iterative
working process with the development team to incorporate security compliance
into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure a proactive approach to mitigating
vulnerabilities. The engineer will work with the integrated development
teams to prevent and detect security vulnerabilities within the
applications. Responsible for installation and management of security tools
Scanning the Cloud environment
Verifying security controls
Support Risk Management Framework to achieve IATO and ATO
Works with the following tools:
o AppDetective
o AppScan
o ArcSight
o Nessus
o NMap
o Splunk
o WebInspect
Education Level
BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related experience.
