Associate Technical IT Project Manager

Job Overview:
The Associate Technical IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating Agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance; while adhering to existing standards and delivery processes.
The Associate Technical IT Project Manager will manage stakeholder relationships and ensure support and alignment to IT departmental roadmaps; manage project cost and forecasting, as well as vendor and departmental relationships.
The Associate Technical IT Project Manager will manage projects relating to IT Data Center Services / Infrastructure and DevOps information systems, networking, and telecommunications.

Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate Agile and Waterfall project teams for Enterprise projects
Define and manage project scope and budget
Assist in creating Agile and Waterfall increment project plans and schedules
Assess risk - identify risk to project success
Define metrics – identify measures for success related to delivery of the project
Manage project delivery process
Manage stakeholders'' expectations and communications
Communicate lessons learned, meeting minutes, project charts, project timelines, and best practices to group management
Request approval for changes for IT projects
Responsible for Project Review meetings to the Manager, Program Management
Conduct team meetings, as required
Work with the team to remove impediments
Manage several concurrent high visibility projects using a blend of Agile and Waterfall
Role of Scrum Master

Required Knowledge / Skill:
Previous skills as an IT System Administrator/Engineer
Experience with project management of information systems, Active Directory, networking, or telecommunications
Proficient at technical writing
High proficiency with verbal and written communications
Ability to quickly adapt and respond to shifts in project/program

Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
Degree or equivalent certification
2+ years in Information Technology
Proven skills as a technical writer

Preferred Experience / Education:
Bachelor''s Degree
1+ years in Infrastructure as an IT Project Manager
PMI PMP or Scrum certification
Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise)
Experience with creating project plans and working in an Agile project management organization

Job Scope/Comment: SCOPE:
Expected to manage projects from initial conception and planning through to execution and operational phases.
Work with cross-functional and cross-company teams to define, launch, and drive strategic businessinitiatives through entire project lifecycle. Structure and execute initiatives by gathering relevant data, leading analyses, developing final project proposals and recommendations, and creating and executing project plans. Revise and adjust project plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Communicate project objectives, status, expectations to project team and management. Create, manage, and track project schedules, including tracking dependencies, deadlines, and otherinformation that may impact delivery or quality of project. Minimize, manage, and avoid risks to milestones, schedules and objectives of project. Prepare presentations, project documentation and reports. Motivates cross-functional and cross-organizational project team to work together in the most efficient and effective manner. Identify areas for improvement in internal processes within the department and cross-organizationally along with possible solutions. KNOWLEDGE: Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally. SUPERVISION: Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. EXPERIENCE: Typically requires 0-3 years of related experience.
