Job title: Mechanical Design Engineer (Cero)
Location: Lake Forest, CA (Onsite)
Role/Responsibilities:
  1. The customer s group works with the Microscope and Lenses domain and thus the new Contractor position / Onsite Engineer must have experience/expertise in Assembling Designs/Prototypes for Metals, Plastics, Glass, and Polymer materials.
  2. Hands-on building physical prototypes for validation and testing.
  3. Hands-on testing of physical prototypes in the Customer Lab.
  4. Good experience on Windchill PLM.
  5. Good experience in Creo for design, GD&T and its application in sheet metal parts design, and various GD&T symbols used in the drawings.
  6. Good experience in Creo for assembly, the options used for the assembly considerations regarding the assembly mountings, and Knowledge of Skeleton model creation for top-down assembly is required.
  7. Must know criteria considered in sheet metal and plastic parts design.
  8. Must know various injection molding processes followed while designing and manufacturing new parts.
  9. Special Note: Must know about Tool design with plastic injection molded components, also, manufacturing expertise is needed since the new product to be designed has more surface modeling requested in Creo to be completed.
