Job Description: This a team lead/architect role supporting a federal intranet website’s transition to SharePoint Online (Office 365
Specific Duties:
Participate in project planning activities including requirements gathering, requirements analysis, resource planning, and infrastructure planning.
Develop a solution strategy for the project using a deep understanding of SharePoint Online (Office 365
Provide technical detail for SDLC, privacy, and security documentation.
Liaise with engineers and system architects.
Formulate persuasive technical positions that will help move the project over bureaucratic hurdles.
Coordinate the daily work of a small group of developers.
Create flowcharts, wire diagrams, and slides to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrate prototypes and concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
Coding and SharePoint configuration may be necessary.
Candidate must be located in the Washington, DC area.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Candidate must be able to pass a DHS Public Trust background investigation.
Skills and Abilities:
In depth knowledge and understanding of SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 and SharePoint Online features and best practices.
Experience planning and building enterprise level SharePoint Online solutions.
Experience with Central Administration configuration in SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 and/or SharePoint Administration in SharePoint Online.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Experience working with Agile and waterfall project management practices.
Familiarity with federal SDLC, privacy, accessibility, and security practices.
Understand and follow Section 508 standards as applied by DHS.
