The client is looking for a talented Senior Java Engineer to help build the next generation data platform
– Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and 7 years of software engineering experience
– 7+ years of object oriented programming expertise in Java, or similar language
– Experience building highly scalable, high performant web services using Java, Spring, JAX-RS
– Experience with web/app containers such as Apache/Tomcat, Jboss- Strong knowledge in data structures, RDBMD, NoSQL databases like Cassandra
– Experience building real-time data pipelines using Kafka- Experience with large scale data processing using Spark
