Our client, a renowned, distinctive, and established public University, is seeking to add a SCCM Lead to their growing team of 28,000+ employees. This FT 6 month contract to hire position will be based at our client’s campus in Charlottesville, VA.

Responsibilities
SCCM JAMF Central Services
Backend systems support , AD support
Ability to create and link software packages as well as monitor software deployments through all environments.
Software packaging (repackaging) of third party commercial applications into MSI format using Install Shield Admin Studio.
Configuration and management of Group Policy Objects.
Engineer and deploy new hardware and software systems.
Maintain integrity of hardware and software inventory using automated tools.
Custom application development as required.
Qualifications
Understands practice of distributed IT operations in Academic environment
Experience with administrative scripts, Powershell.
Technically astute in the areas of DNS, MS Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Distributed File System Namespace and Replication, PXE, User Profiles, Roaming Profiles, Folder Redirection and Personality Management concepts and techniques.
Must understand software distribution methodologies and practices.
