Job Title: EMC Storage Engineer
Location- Windsor Mill, MD
Duration- 12 months
Visa- EAD GC/ GC/ USC
Our client, a Leading Government Systems Integrator is in need of 2 Storage Administrators for initial 6 – 12 month contracts located in Windsor Mill, MD.
The Storage Admins will be supporting and leading storage related discussions and tasks to include, creating LUNS, creating device groups, managing NFS, capacity planning, storage reporting, systems monitoring and attending change control board meetings.
Required Skills:
4 – 5 years of experience with the installation, administration, configuration and troubleshooting of EMC storage technology, specifically with VMAX and Unity (would look at folks with VNX experience
Experience using Visio or other like tools for documentation.
Must be able to attain a public trust clearance.
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
Any EMC proven professional certifications.
Prior experience with the implementation, administration and configuration of Avamar. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
