Job Description:
10 years of Java Programmer with Liferay portal development experience
Java based technologies Liferay 5.x,6.x, JDK (JSE)1.6/1.5/1.4(4,5,6), JEE(5,6,7), JSP,
Struts 1.2/2.0 , Spring 2.5/3.0, JDBC, Hibernate 3.0/4.0, Apache Tomcat, XML, Servlets, Java Beans, HTML, Java Script, JQuery.
Expertise in developing Liferay MVC potlets, Spring MVC portlets, Struts MVC portlets, HOOKs, Layouts, Themes and EXT Plugins
Expertise in using SOA and Web Services Technologies and Tools like Web Services,
SOAP, REST, UDDI, SOAP UI
Adapt in server side development skills using Apache and good knowledge of database connectivity (JDBC) for databases Oracle and MySQL.
Expertise in web-based GUIs development using Alloy UI, Java Script(JQuery),JSP, HTML, HTML5, XHTML,CSS 3, Bootstrap.
Experience in designing, developing and deploying J2EE applications on WebLogic Application Servers, Tomcat, and JBOSS
Have knowledge on Alfresco integration on Liferay 6.0.5 Community Edition
Experience in Migrating Liferay Portal to higher versions
Experience in consuming REST/SOAP and producing Liferay based web services.
Strong analytical, problem solving and excellent inter-personal skills.
Atleast 1 year of working experience in migrating Liferay platform from 6 to 7 is required
Atleast 3 years of experience in application architecture required
