Position : Information Security Engineer
Location : Reston, VA
Job Description:
Function:
Work with Freddie Mac Engineering Team to determine the business importance of new products/services
Perform BIA, Risk assessment
Determine and define applicable test strategy and approach
Coordinate with different Project Teams and drive end to end testing
Activities:
Provide technical expertise, leadership, planning and coordination of IT testing.
Create, execute and maintain testing strategy and detailed test plans / schedule for application, infrastructure and network components.
Focus upon non-functional testing such as connectivity, performance, penetration and security testing.
Develop and maintain a system for identifying and tracking system defects and coordinating with technical staff to ensure the successful resolution and retesting of defects.
Work closely with users to ensure that proper formal customer signoff is documented for accepting the system into production.
Advanced knowledge of IT testing methodologies, infrastructure testing, integration testing and industry standard trends and tools
Technical Skills:
Good Experience in Information Security Solution Deployments and providing L2 technical support.
Good Experience in Information Security Policies and Controls, IT Risk Assessments & IT Security Audits
Product Knowledge and Experience expected across many of the below products, technologies and Standards
o SailPoint Products / Symantec DLP / CyberArk / End Point Protection / Enterprise Directory Services
o Risk Assessment / IT Security Audit / IT RISK assessment
o BlackDuck / Contrast / Venafi / FireEye
o Gaurdium / Encase / Agilance (Risk Vision)
o Riverbed SteelHead
o BlueCoat / zScaler
