Job Description :

Engineer II - Software QA - IT – Exempt
Location: Hampton, VA or St Paul, MN
This is a Contract to Hire Position
Immigration Status - ONLY US Citizen/GC Holder/ EAD from GC applicant

Technical Skills / Knowledge Required:

Demonstrated proficiency with SQL for creating/modifying queries is a must.
Demonstrated proficiency in Test Case writing
Experience in Test Plan writing
Experience testing web based/workflow applications
Experience with Integration testing with systems external to the application under test
Experience in using Unix for file manipulation and basic shell scripting
Worked with Automation Tools and familiarity with Scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, creating and validating XML
Experience with testing tools for test case management and defect management
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, Project, and Excel
Excellent analytical skills.
Thorough understanding of all phases of SDLC required.

Experience / Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
6+ years’ experience with software quality assurance required
