iZeal, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager for our client's requirements. The salary depends on experience.

 

Position: Project Manager
Location: Richmond, VA.

Job Requirements:

1.    Conduct assessments of existing strategic and operational plans, procedures, and practices to document and/or define the business processes and develop baseline measurements to assess their effectiveness.
2.    Assist with prioritizing critical output, productivity and outcome measures; and identify how the City could better achieve its mission and reporting the findings.
3.    Articulate approaches that would lead to focused, high-impact projects, develop frameworks, directions, and strategies for identified areas.
4.    Develop strategic roadmaps to implement strategic objectives including evaluating portfolio-based strategic planning approaches and developing a strategic performance management model to establish the governance, processes, and infrastructure required to manage transformation activities from concept through design and implementation.
5.    Create detailed implementation plans that outline the activities, timelines, responsibilities, and resources required for execution.
6.    Effectively manage project resources, including team members, budget, and materials.
7.    Track progress of the project’s implementation and execution of the plan.
8.    Engage, communicate, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders, such as leadership, departmental or agency staff, industry, other government partners or other external stakeholder groups throughout the planning and development phases. 
9.    Develop models to analyze the potential consequences of strategic alternatives and facilitate the review and debate of strategic options, such as by validating and stress testing options or alternative approaches using stakeholder engagement and the applicable governance processes.
10.    Understand current and future requirements and any agency performance gap as input for a strategic plan or a major plan update by engaging key stakeholders, such as leadership, departmental or agency staff, industry, other government partners or other external stakeholder groups.
11.    Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the planning process.
12.    Develop realistic project schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and adhere to project timelines.
13.    Create and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and manage costs effectively.
14.    Conduct focused assessments and train core groups of internal and external partners to sustain the effort and serve as the technical resource team for the implementation of the plan.
15.    Facilitate meetings, workshops, focus groups, surveys, and interviews to gather input and feedback. 
16.    Foster collaboration, consensus-building, and ownership among stakeholders ensuring that diverse perspectives and voices are represented in the planning process.
17.    Monitor to measure progress and ability to adjust based on changing conditions.
18.    Communicate impact of the plan’s achievements and successes.
19.    Keep and maintain detailed records for the project plan making records available to City upon request with the capability to produce accurate and comprehensive project documentation, reports, and status updates as required.
20.    Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancements, lessons learned, and best practices incorporating feedback and recommendations into future planning efforts.

 

Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
