Description
Seeking an exceptional individual for an exciting and rewarding position on the Innovation Team for Commercial Products. As a member of the Innovation Team you will develop new and emerging technologies and drive industry-standard initiatives that benefit both internally and externally. You will guide management on technical and strategic direction participating in the analysis and identification of opportunities spanning technical disciplines across product lines and across business units.
Responsibilities
· Invents, develops and introduces new methods and techniques that significantly impact our product/services and/or customer’s operations on a regular basis.
· Drives incorporation of new emerging technologies into the business environment.
· Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.
· Demonstrates a deep understanding of how technologies will evolve over time and how new emerging technologies will change a landscape.
· Demonstrates a collaborative effort with different groups and organizations on strategies and tactics that greatly improve value of product or service to the customer.
· Assess potential supplier's solutions, both technically and experience focused. Determine alignment and applicability to innovation framework and strategy and make recommendations and proposals.
· Collaborate across the company to guide the direction of AI, machine learning, Voice, chat bots and working with software, research and product teams
· Implements Proof-of-Concepts to demonstrate the value of AI, machine learning, voice, etc. and their use cases to executive management and customers
Basic Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis
· 5+ year’s professional experience in software development using C++, C# or Java experience with Python and JavaScript

Seasoned developers will get little direction. Will work as part of the proofs concept team for commercial desktops.
Example- manager sketches idea on white board and tells developer to go figure it out.
Ideal c++, C#, Python
Clients know that he will not get everything in one developer but willing to create a team between the two.

Preferred Requirement
· Development experience with SDK’s and API's
· Knowledge of developing for Cloud based services, like Azure, Amazon E2C or Google AppEngine
· Knowledge in Natural Language Understanding and prior work experience with Machine Learning
· Voice recognition & Text to speech engine knowledge is highly preferred.
· Experience with real time debugging tools
· Ability to create and execute test scripts for both manual and automated.
· Fluency in written and oral communication skills in English
