Position Description:
Client is looking for a talented, hands-on DevOps Engineer focused on Windows to join our growing organization.
You will be joining a high-performance DevOps team responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that automate and monitor windows application deployment in Amazon AWS GovCloud.
You will work with our Kanban-based team and be involved developing tools required for deployment, monitoring, security and auditing.
Responsibilities
Develop tools for deployment, monitoring, security and auditing for windows-based software stack.
Work within team to get task done on time.
Produce quality code and deliver features on-time.
Competencies
Ability to demonstrate past accomplishments developing consumer grade automation using configuration management tools.
Ability to independently execute against deadlines.
Passionate about DevOps and modern DevOps toolset.
Resourceful, able to solve complex problems using online and team resources.
Requirements
5+ years of DevOps experience around AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, VPC-VPN, Cloudformation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch
Experience with Windows 2012 Server Administration (IIS, SMTP, FTPS, AD) with high availability
Experience with PowerShell
Experience with Ansible for Configuration / Infrastructure automation
Experience with Visual Studio and Dot-net builds on windows platform
Nice to have:
Experience with AWS GovCloud and Compliance (FIPS, CIS, SOCKS
Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana for centralized logging or other use cases.
Experience with python programming languages.
Experience with MS SQL Server Administration (Operations, Backup Restore, Replication
