- Has a development background and is not afraid to pick up new skills
- Has experience beyond writing code in the IDE. Should be able to talk about service containers and/or dependencies and/or certificates and/or log files. Something beyond “I write the code and then its some one else''s problem to run it in production”.

Desirable/bonus points:
- Has Java experience and has worked as a java developer.
- Has familiarity with maven and gradle. Extra bonus points for writing a gradle plugin.
