Technical Skills
Data Science principles and applied knowledge with R Python and Spark.
Visualization and Reporting experience using Tableau
Experience building dynamic Excel dashboards, such as connecting to DBs, pivot tables
Experience with SQL Server capable of creating complex queries for Data Extraction and Data Transformation, a plus
Bigdata cloudera
A good understanding of Infrastructure components such as servers, databases, storage, networks.
Intermediate/Advanced level Knowledge of IT Capacity Management and Infrastructure required (datacenter, Storage, servers, databases)
Strong MS Office skills
Duties:
Developing and generating reports for the Testing & Enterprise Services Organization
Work directly with key stakeholders to create best in class KPI’s
Gather reporting requirements with clients
Analyze large data sets to determine trends
Ensure quality specifications are met with all dashboards
Technical design documents created for all reports
Good problem solving acumen
In this function, the candidate will be designing and implementing data solutions via Dashboards and Analytical models which will help Infrastructure and Application Developer teams to mitigate risks associated with Capacity and Performance of the IT infrastructure.
The candidate will also help migrate existing complex Dynamic Excel Dashboards into Tableau, and support and beautify existing Tableau Dashboards
The Role Involves:
The candidate should also be well versed with data manipulation preferably the use of Excel, Tableau and any other analytics tool.
Proven experience with Data Analytics
Create visualization solutions based on requirements from IT organization
Some of this solution will involve analytics and correlation analysis.
Able to dissect from raw data, trends and correlate the information other sources of data
Create Reports and KPIs detailing the findings from the analysis.
Understand key capacity and performance metrics for Infrastructure and applications
Understand Infrastructure components such as Storage, Databases, Servers, Datacenter and Virtual Infrastructure
identify potential performance constrains caused by abnormal behaviors
Identify and document issues, gaps, and concerns of the users
The candidate will be expected to provide periodic feedback, such that processes and procedures can be improved
Qualifications:
Degree or higher education in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of experience building BI solutions
At least 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist
At least 5 years’ experience as an IT-Data Analysis and/or Support in large and complex projects, preferably in the banking/finance industry
ITIL certification and familiarity with IT Systems Architecture a plus, also operations or application support experience a plus.
Strong problem solving skills
Familiar with Financial Institutions
Excellent communication/presentation (oral and written) and report writing skills
Ability to pay attention to details and accuracy
High degree of flexibility with a “can do” attitude, able to work effectively with limited level of instruction and supervision
Excellent time management and task management abilities
Proactive, driven and energetic Capability of handling pressure situation with ease
Self-motivated person to research on his/her own any technical issue/limitation to be able to walk around and resolve issues.
