Role: Support (Customer Experience) Engineer

Location: Raleigh, USA

Number of positions: 5

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for FBOSS (Facebook Open Switching System) software and related network infrastructure components.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of FBOSS features.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of bugs to accurately triage and prioritize issues.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in testing in the networking domain.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, LLDP, ACL, SNMP), routing, and switching technologies.
  • Experience with FBOSS or similar network operating systems (NOS) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
