Title: CRM DATA ENGINEER
Location: Redwood City, CA
Type: 1+ Year Contract

DESCRIPTION
The CRM Platform (CRMP) Data Engineer will have a solid data warehousing background. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing business, campaign developers / operations and data warehouse engineers to identify, prioritize, implement, tune, troubleshoot data model changes, support building data pipelines, extractors and transformers to make data available in cloud and on-premise systems.

Role:
Build ETLs to make data available and ready for Campaign Audience Selection and Analytics
Migrate our campaign selection data (using technologies like Teradata, Oracle, JAVA, PHP) and processing capability to the cloud and other technologies (like but not limited to AWS, Oracle Responsys, Salesforce, ExactTarget, and MySQL)
Implement and maintain relational data models, data transfer pipes, ingestion, error handling and reporting

Skills and Experience:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 3-5 years work ex.
Experience with large scale Data Warehousing environments
Experience with Talend, Informatica, DataStage, Storm or any other industry standard ETL tool

Desired:
Knowledge of the latest cloud technologies to build highly scalable data pipelines and data repositories
Knowledge of best practices for ETL design and development such as data profiling, data cleansing, change data capture, and performance optimization.
ETL framework design.
Oracle sql., Knowledge of unix, scripting is preferred
