Summary

The Cloud Architect role helps client’s internal cloud migration product teams build and implement solutions on an enterprise scale. This is a senior technical role with opportunity to partner community across and Other organizations. You can expect to be heavily involved in virtualization, storage and cloud infrastructures. The role also contains an evangelical aspect and there will be the opportunity to participate in technical POCs alongside the Cloud Engineering and Migration Product teams.
Roles & Responsibilities

Work with Microsoft and Oracle Cloud architects
Provides technical thought leadership specifically on all aspects of Cloud migration.
Oversight experience on major transformation projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with public cloud (e.g. Azure, Oracle Cloud)
Cloud Infrastructure (Systems Operations / Management, Virtualization, Networking, Storage, IT Security, Linux)
Cloud Data Services (Database Architecture, Big Data, Machine Learning, AI, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, No-SQL databases, ETL)
Cloud Application Development (DevOps, AGILE, SCRUM with .NET, C++, Java, JSON, Node.js, PHP, Perl, Python)
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives and growing cloud consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts
Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication
15+ years of total technology experience handling large scale applications.
5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc
2+ years of experience in “migrating” on premise workloads to the cloud
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
Prior work experience in Enterprise Architecture position
