Position: Automation Engineer
Length: 6-month contract to hire
Location: Norfolk, VA

Project Details:
Define and establish test automation strategy and processes for new development and legacy applications
Support Test Automation Solution Planning and Estimation.
Analyze current architecture and test platforms to formulate a vision for growth and expansion.
Perform detailed test designs using sound software test engineering principals in the context of test automation platforms and integration across distributed systems
Collaborate with Scrum Masters, BAs and developers
Perform tasks required for automated test implementation including review acceptance criteria, create integration/regression test scenarios, implement test data management strategy, and generate required metrics and reports.
Improve existing test automation frameworks
Skills Needed:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Test Automation including planning, assessments, script development & maintenance
Experience in one or more of the following testing toolsets/frameworks:
Selenium
Cucumber
SOAP UI
Should have the ability to code independently
Experience in data manipulation languages to setup test data and verify results
Experience working in Agile-Scrum
Experience in testing UI/UX best practices
