Role : App/Web Server Admin

App/Web Server Administration
1. Responsible for configuring the infrastructure and installing applications on Windows IIS hosted platform.
2. Working with application teams examining deployment requirements (hardware and software requirements
3. Reviewing application installation documentation.
4. Executing the install.
5. Automating the installation process.
6. Ensuring that the installation is done in accordance with standards and best practices.
7. Perform Application Upgradation support
8. Application Log Files Management
9. Troubleshoot Electronic Data Exchange Management
10. Performance tuning of OS w.r.t to application
11. Application Patch Deployment
12. Applications Service Issues/Startup/Shutdown
13. Java application servers such as Weblogic, Tomcat, and/or WebSphere
14. J2EE/Java, Servlet & JSP based systems deployment and support
15. Apache, iPlanet or another web server behind Akamai or another CDN a plus.
16. Hands on experience with securing .NET applications
17. 5+ years of experience in Windows IIS administration.
18. Should have hands on experience on Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, IIS Administration.
19. Develops software components and hardware for projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
20. Independently solves common problems and updates applications with new technology.
21. Collaborates with engineers, architects, developers and other staff to meet project objectives.
22. Analyzes the technological needs of customers and provides ongoing support for clients.
23. Assesses and effectively manages all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure activities are in alignment with the bank’s and unit’s risk appetite and risk management framework.
Windows
(Secondary)
1. Experience in administering Windows 2000/2003/2008/2012 Servers. Windows 2016 server would be an added advantage.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and solid understanding of Microsoft Servers and Server applications
3. Windows PowerShell knowledge would be an added advantage.
4. MCSA/MCITP/VCP 5.0 or 6.0 or similar certification.
5. Daily checks on Windows 2003/2008R2/2012/2016 servers to monitor the status and the state of the servers
6. Install, configure, and administer servers and troubleshoot issues as needed.
7. Proficient with TCP/IP network protocols.
8. Debugging/troubleshooting of OS issues.
9. Server/File/Printer Migration expérience.
10. Perform Security Health Check of Windows servers and other compliance.
11. Perform/Recommend timely Patch management as per the Schedule.
12. Installing, Configuring and Hardening of Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016 Servers.

1. Should have Experience in IT Service organization
