Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

1. Expertise in design/implement the infrastructure to support business critical processes.
2. Hands on experience in design, implementing compute management for cloud datacenter.
3. Expertise in setting up EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, IAM, Security groups, ELB, deployment and migration of environments.
4. Knowledge of Terraform, chef, puppet and Kubernetes preferred.
5. Knowledge of archival and back-up policies for the system.
6. Experience with large volume systems and best practices associated.
7.Set-up and maintain the AWS Cloud infrastructure according to the standards and guidelines set forth.
8. Work closely with the cross-functional teams to understand the requirements for setting up the servers according to the scale and volume of data.
9. Set forth the best practices for security, monitoring, migration and expansion of infrastructure
10. Pro-active and flexible to understand the changing environment and propose solutions accordingly.
11. Collaborative to help the team with critical issues and ready to extend extra help when needed.
12. Install 3rd party tooling on AWS infrastructure created.
