Role: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Plano, TX/Wilmington, DE/Columbus, OH(3 day onsite per week)
JOB SUMMARY:
Job responsibilities
" Troubleshoot bugs, fix defects, and support users of applications developed by the enterprise application development team.
" Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality bar is being met with regard to coding standards, integration, extensibility, and security.
" Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers on ServiceNow system software.
" Develop enhancements for applications developed by the enterprise application development team.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
" Bachelor s degree in math, engineering, information systems, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience
" Knowledge of CMDB Implementation
" Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, CSM, SecOps etc.)
" Expertise in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
" Proven ability to set up ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts to meet needs
" Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE and HTML5
" Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems
" Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
" Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
" Experience with the Big 4 or consulting
" Working knowledge of Scrum or Agile development methodologies
" Certification as a Certified Implementation Specialist
" Certified Application Developer
