Are you a seasoned SAP professional with expertise in supply chain management? We're looking for a skilled consultant to provide continuous improvement and technical leadership in SAP SCM Solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate with key business resources, support Materials Management functions, and optimize existing systems while providing expert-level support for SAP ECC 6.0 MM/PP/VC modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery for SCM Solutions, focusing on demand planning (APO DP), manufacturing planning (APO PP DS), and global available-to-promise (APO-ATP).
  • Provide SAP ECC 6.0 functional support for MM/PP/VC modules, understanding internal customer needs and recommending changes or alternative solutions.
  • Support Materials Management functions such as Master Data, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Production Planning.
  • Optimize existing systems and provide recommendations for upgrades and new functionalities, including option comparisons and well-researched recommendations.
  • Perform hands-on configuration in relevant SAP/APO modules and ensure data accuracy in downstream systems.
  • Create, deploy, and train on various business intelligence tools, ensuring seamless integration with SAP modules.
  • Understand the integration and relationship between SAP modules, especially MM/PP with WM, SD, and FI/CO.
  • Collect and review business requirements, create functional designs, and undertake hands-on configuration of modules.
  • Manage implementation of changes without business interruption, providing post-production support for custom system enhancements.
  • Participate in system and application upgrades, enhancements, and resolutions, identifying opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 11+ years of experience working in or supporting finance teams on SAP, with expert knowledge in SAP APO, MM, PP, VC.
  • SAP certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, reporting systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage tasks independently.
