Position Overview:
Freddie Mac's Single-Family (SF) Division is currently seeking a Data Governance & Strategy Professional to be part of the Data Management Services team. The ideal candidate has a passion for people, technology and data. Partnering with key stakeholders, you will play a key role in how SF manages Information Risk. You will build trust and relationships within SF and across the divisions while delivering timely and meaningful communications, thinking creatively to solve problems, and continuing to set the bar higher for Single Family.

Your Impact:
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Data Management Services team and will be expected to develop resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of ingenuity and creativity to meet the team's stated impact, above. You will be given considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment due to your extensive professional expertise.
Review processes for managing information risk and suggest efficiency improvement while ensuring adequate controls
Develop processes/controls/procedures to operationalize divisional compliance activities
Review Corporate Policy and Standards to access for potential gaps.
Review processes for design and suggest efficiency improvement while ensuring adequate controls.
Providing project management support to the team where needed
Develop reports for key metrics and support in overall compliance to cyber, privacy and access management standards
 
Qualifications:a
2-4 years related experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience in managing business initiatives using project management methodology and tools.
Strong organizational skills: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with project and program management practices
Proficiency with MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
 
Keys to Success in this Role:
Have had experience either with supporting a project from concept to execution
Ability to learn quickly and pivot without issues!
Possess analytical and critical thinking skills
Able to work independently and produce deliverables within established timelines
Ability to navigate ambiguity and creatively problem-solve
