As a Business Analyst, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with a Product Owner (Squad Leader) and technology teams to create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest customer value. The Team

The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Fidelity Health Business Analyst Chapter (team), which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multi-functional Agile scrum team (squad), partnering with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. These squads will continue to bring new Healthcare capabilities to many of our core platforms!
We currently have five open positions for Business Analysts, each requiring a diverse skill set. These roles cover various requirements, including expertise in the healthcare domain, proficiency in data analysis, and essential skills in core software product development.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years software Development Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams or master's degree in related filed with solid software product development skills.
  • Solid understanding industry experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development preferred.
  • Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
  • Solid grasp of the architecture and deployment needed to support web development.
  • Interact closely with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders across Client's Health Benefits domain to elicit Product requirements.
  • Work with UXD teams to support prototyping.
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP ) certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus.

  • Leading and conducting business analyses to formulate and make recommendations.
  • Identifying and defining solutions to business problems, through creation and documentation of systems and process specifications
  • Creating, documenting, and leading scrum team backlog (writing user stories / acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, running refinement sessions, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with business partners, development teams, external vendors, and QA on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Supporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., defining, and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, creation, and delivery of solution training to internal teams, and communication
  • Prioritize multiple initiatives and business analysis tasks at the same time.
